Working closely with Fresh Cream Cakes Southsea, a boutique decorative cake company in their 3rd year of trading. we were tasked with the development and delivery of a complete branding strategy in order to grow the business and generate more leads, through an effective online presence!
Working closely with the key stakeholders of the company, we suggested a floral, pink romantic theme for their brand in keeping with their reputation for producing top quality cakes and patisserie.
We designed the logo with a floral circle, around the initials of the founder’s name in order to help customers identify and easily relate the branding to their business. We went on to incorporate the branding into: A roller banner, business cards and interactive and mobile friendly website.
The branding and logo are quite “floral and romantic”, the website needs to showcase a considerable amount of colourful product photos. Therefore, we kept the layout as simple as possible, with plenty of white space throughout So the layout doesn’t look too busy and the amazing cake photos “pop-out”.
For the “Home page”, we also included a simple slider with “call to action” buttons to grab the viewers’ attention. We also used some images with text blocks to give an instant feel for the company’s products and services.
The website is fully responsive.
We also designed a roller banner for the client.
